EARL AND THE TRIAL THIS WEEKEND!
With the imminent arrival of nasty Earl to Southeastern NB this weekend we had to do some scrambling today to find us a dry place to have the trial.
Luckily Golden Reins did not have an event scheduled. There were some borders scheduled for riding but Lisa generously said we could have the trial there. After contacting Gary White and arranging with him to redesign the courses to fit the smaller venue, we are all set! Saturday we will be in Golden Reins, and Sunday we will move it back to Little River. Gary will be back judging for us in 2011 to use the courses he’s already designed for us:) That’s fine with us….he’s a good guy!
About Dulcie
My husband Don and I bought our Little River Property in 2005. We had been looking for a property to retire on (and do agility) for many years. When we drove down Mollin's Road in Colpitts Settlement on Father's Day in 2005 and saw a small "For Sale" sign behind some bushes on a farmer's overgrown hayfield, we immediately stopped and let all 5 dogs out of the car. We scrambled through 20 acres of brush, thorny bushes and bugs until we came to the river....and we immediately fell in love with it. So did the dogs! And we love it even more today. Little River is a perfect site for dogs to train, trial, and run and play off leash, and then take a refreshing dip in the river. We only have only three dogs today: 11 year-old Whistler, a BC cross; 7 year old Maverick a BC; and our BC pup, Hefner (two more are buried under the old apple tree on the property). Our dogs love it here....it's a dog's life for sure at Little River. And we all know that all "dogs just wanna have fun!"
